Dancely Program for Ages 2-6

JDW is so excited to announce that we are featuring the brand new dance program DANCELY created by the CEO of Dance Studio Owners Association in all of our Combo Classes!

JDW is passionate about dance for young children and want to give our youngest dancers the best dance program we can offer. Our Combo classes will now include: Creative movement, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Tumbling and Dancely! We will be adding themed dance days that will include the Dancely Dance Program music and choreography!

A wonderful new program for 2- 6 year old dancers that provides education and

entertainment through original music especially written for the program, original choreography and uses dance styles such as jazz, hip hop, ballet and tap. We’ve

been listening to all the new music and they are just so much FUN and

catchy and we are thrilled to be able to offer it within our Combo Classes!

Disney, Netflix and Marvel -- Powerhouses!

Original Choreography
Dancely features original choreography from expert preschool dance teachers,
who know exactly the moves that make kids jump for joy with delight and excitement. Your little ones are going to have so much fun moving, bouncing, and shaking with us!

Class Descriptions

Classes offered at Janice’s DanceWorks:

Dance Disciplines Offered:

Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tumbling, Modern, Hip Hop, Hippity Hop, Superhero, Special Needs, Adult Variety dance

Combo 1 is specifically designed for age 2 and 3 who are new to dance. Dancers will explore creative movement, ballet, tap, tumbling and The New DANCELY dance program! These dancers perform one dance in our end of year Recital Showcase.

Combo 2 is recommended for age 3 experienced dancers and age 4 new dancers who are ready to learn new skills and patterning in ballet, jazz, tap, tumbling and The New DANCELY dance program!

Combo 3 is our intermediate level combo class recommended for experienced 4 year old dancers and 5 year old new dancers. Dancers will learn more advanced combinations and dancing across the floor in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Tumbling and The New DANCELY dance program!

Dancers will perform 2 dances in our Recital Showcase: Ballet and a Jazz/Tap Dance

Combo 4 is our intermediate/advanced combo pre-level 1 class recommended for experienced 5 year old dancers and new 6 year old dancers who are ready to begin a stronger focus in Ballet, Tap and Jazz, complicated combinations and dancing in formations. Dancers will also participate in The New DANCELY dance program!

Dancers will perform 2 dances in the Recital Showcase.

Combo 5 is our advanced combo pre-level 1 class recommended for experienced 6 year old dancers and new 7 year old dancers who are ready to learn beginning technique in Ballet, Tap and Jazz, complicated combinations and dancing in formations. Dancers will also participate in The New DANCELY dance program!

Dancers will perform 2 dances in the Recital Showcase.

Open level classes are recommended for dancers ages 7 through 18 who are not interested in pursuing competitive, college or professional level dance. This program is designed for Dancers and Tumblers who would like to have the opportunity to participate in class with dancers their own age and level. These classes do not have any specific requirements except having fun while receiving quality dance instruction from DanceWorks’ educated experienced teachers. Dancers have the opportunity to participate in Ballet/Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet/Contemporary Hippity Hop and Tumbling. All open level classes will perform in the Recital Showcase.

Pre-Professional classes are recommended for dancers ages 7 through 18 who are interested in pursuing competitive, college or professional level dance It is designed for Dancers & Tumblers who are interested intense classes which require additional technique classes. Classes include: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tumbling, Modern and Hip Hop These Dancers and Tumblers will participate in multiple performance opportunities including Regional and National Competitions as well as Community Events.
